I found a flower in my woods that remind me of you, So I picked out the ground and I took it to my room
I put it in some water I thought it'd be enough but I guess it needed more just Like you needed love
So I sat it on a high shelf just to watch it die; Slowly fade away like we all do in time
Yes I sat it on that shelf even tho I knew it would die
But that didn't stop me from watching it and thinking the beauty was mine
Now I don't have the flowers the world is so bleak I don't have the flowers it's been like this for weeks
And I just thought these flowers would ease my mind yeah I just thought these flowers would be the right kind to look at when I'm lonely to brighten up my day to see that there is life but it soon passed away

As I'm looking at these flowers I see all their colors and I realize that love spreads to others
